THE IDEA BEHIND GROW YOUR TOWN

One small event can lead to
something bigger.

We do not have to start with a giant festival or wait for someone else to create something for us. We can start with one good idea, see who shows up, learn from it and build from there.

START SMALL → SHOW UP → BUILD BIGGER

This is how participation grows the idea.

Grow Your Town is about creating more reasons to get together close to home. You come because an experience sounds fun. At the same time, your participation shows us what people want more of and helps smaller ideas grow into bigger future experiences.

01

Someone has an idea.

“Wouldn't it be fun if we had a Witches Ride?” “What about live music?” “Could we do a creative night?” Good things can start with one simple thought.

02

We try it.

Start at a manageable size. Create something people can actually enjoy now instead of waiting until every piece of a much bigger idea is possible.

03

People show up.

Locals attend, bring friends, choose tickets or Supporter Packages when offered, and become part of the experience—not just spectators watching from the sidelines.

04

We learn what works.

Participation tells us what people enjoy, what they want again and which ideas have enough interest to grow.

THEN THE IDEA CAN GROW

Small experiences can create room for bigger ones.

A strong turnout can give us the confidence and resources to try the next idea—live entertainment, original artists, creative experiences, social gatherings and larger community events that are harder to start from zero.

You get the experience you came for. Behind the scenes, your participation helps create the reason for the next one.

“Come because it sounds fun.
Leave knowing you helped make more fun possible.”

GROW YOUR TOWN

LOCAL BUSINESSES CAN JOIN IN, TOO

One event can become a reason to spend more time in town.

A restaurant can create a special. A shop can add an activity. A business can host the next gathering. Instead of every idea standing alone, local businesses and residents can build around one another and create a fuller day.

THE LONG-TERM CASS CITY VISION

What if we eventually had a place for more of these ideas?

The community-space vision grows out of the experiences—not the other way around. Classes, coffee gatherings, music, clubs, workshops, private celebrations, creative nights, senior mornings and community events can show us what people actually want from a gathering place.

The experiences come first. We start small, learn together and build what people want to come back to.

START SMALL.
SHOW UP.
BUILD WHAT'S NEXT.

THE BIGGER IDEA

YOUR IDEA CAN BE PART OF IT

What do you wish we had around here?

You do not need to own a business or know how to plan an event. Bring the rough idea. We can start there.
